Summary:   The Manager, Strategic Sourcing Metals is accountable for defining and leading enterprise-level category strategies across multiple divisions and sites to deliver sustainable cost, risk, and supply assurance outcomes. Reporting to the Global Strategic Sourcing Senior Leader – Metals, this role oversees sourcing strategies for selected global metal categories (e.g., Steel, Aluminum, Copper) and drives strategic and tactical sourcing outcomes. The position interfaces with senior internal stakeholders and represents sourcing in global, cross-functional forums, requiring strong influence without direct authority.   Responsibilities:   Category Strategy & Value Creation:

Lead global category strategies for metal commodities, integrating demand forecasts, economic trends, volatility, and technology roadmaps. Align sourcing strategies with financial objectives, including margin improvement, cost competitiveness, and working capital optimization. Drive transformational cost and value opportunities across businesses with measurable results.

Serve as the enterprise lead for metals market intelligence, providing insights on pricing, supply risk, capacity constraints, and geopolitical/regulatory impacts. Develop and communicate advanced supply intelligence (e.g., should-cost models, total cost of ownership, cost drivers, indexing methodologies). Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, converting market intelligence into actionable sourcing decisions.

Lead complex supplier negotiations, including long-term agreements, innovative pricing models, and risk mitigation strategies. Manage executive-level supplier relationships to ensure performance, innovation, and portfolio resilience. Ensure robust contract coverage and compliance with governance standards.

Transition fragmented sourcing to an integrated category management operating model across businesses and regions. Define and implement sourcing processes, tools, and enable transparency, speed, compliance, and decision quality. Mentor divisional and site procurement teams to ensure
