Job Description
Reporting to the Corporate Sustainability function, the Sustainability Data Specialist supports global sustainability data management, reporting, systems administration, and continuous improvement. You will maintain reliable sustainability data and support internal reporting, external disclosures, customer requests, and audit-readiness activities. You will work with global EHS, facilities, sustainability, finance, IT, and external partners to collect, validate, analyze, and improve sustainability data and related processes. You will focus on Scope 1, Scope 2, selected Scope 3, energy, water, waste, and other environmental data. Main activities include maintaining data in sustainability systems and related tools. These activities also involve supporting utility invoice workflows, preparing reporting outputs, and supporting limited assurance and audit requests. Additionally, main activities contribute to automation, dashboards, documentation, and user support. You will report to the Sustainability Data Manager and be based in Katowice, working in a hybrid work model.
Your Responsibilities
Manage global sustainability data sets used for internal reporting, external disclosures, customer requests, and audit support. Administer sustainability data systems and related tools, including location, site, questionnaire, tag, and data management activities. Support utility invoice and environmental data workflows, including data collection, follow-up, and reconciliation across systems. Review data completeness and accuracy, investigate variances or gaps, document findings, and coordinate corrective actions with partners. Prepare reporting outputs, dashboards, data extracts, presentations, and summaries that convert sustainability data into applicable insights. Support sustainability reporting activities for Scope 1, Scope 2, selected Scope 3, energy, water, waste, fleet, refrigerants, and other environmental metrics. Prepare inputs for sustainability disclosures, customer questionnaires, and internal leadership updates, including Sustainability Report, SASB, CDP, EcoVadis, SBTi/Net Zero, and related requests. Support limited assurance and audit-readiness by preparing evidence, reconciling values, documenting assumptions, and responding to reviewer questions. Improve process documentation, governance materials, onboarding content, user instructions, and responsibility mapping for sustainability data processes. Contribute to automation, Power BI/dashboarding, Power Apps, SharePoint, data flows, and other process improvement projects. Collaborate with global EHS, facilities, sustainability, finance, IT, suppliers, platform vendors, and external data providers to resolve data gaps and improve data quality. The Essentials - You Will Have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Science, Data Management, STEM, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in data management, data analysis, sustainability reporting, environmental data, or a related discipline. Experience with data management concepts, including data collection, validation, reconciliation, analysis, integration, and reporting. Proficiency with M365 tools, experience with Power BI, Power Automate, SAP, or similar data
