Retail Area Manager West Peninsula/San Francisco CA, Senior Vice President

The Retail Area Group Manager is a senior-level management position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees and growing sales and client base in coordination with the Consumer Sales team. The overall objective of this role is to lead a team, grow sales, build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives. Responsibilities may also include the management of activities by external organizations and the direct management of individuals and sales teams.

Oversee branch operational and service performance by analyzing performance data, developing and executing action plans, communicating and managing performance expectations and facilitating development planning Provide leadership, coaching and direction to all levels of branch and area staff, concentrating on branch visits and area level meetings to drive individual and branch success and balance in results between client advocacy, sales and operational excellence (including operational risk) Partner with segment market managers to drive synergies, review sales pipelines and coordinate priorities/focus areas for branches Identify, source and develop talent, coach branch managers and their teams to leverage Citi’s lead management system and other lead generation techniques (e.g., referrals, community outreach) and encouraging participation Work with various function Managers to drive sales activities by analyzing client and market data to identify potential sales and services opportunities and build partnerships in the community Integrate, prioritize and manage promotional campaigns across segment and product lines and embed the principles behind the compensation program to ensure the motivation of the right behaviors and business delivery Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
