Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis. Primary job functions specific to this position include:
Provide field support to trades/contractors in the field Investigate discrepancies within the OTN Liaison with operations and maintenance to identify opportunities for OTN improvement Identifying new potential use cases and implementing solutions Help document procedures and work flow Troubleshoot and assist in resolving manufacturing equipment reliability issues
Provides technical support to engineers, planners and contractors on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles and manipulates technical data in support of the digital plant project. Utilizes acquired experience to support and plan the connections of equipment to the OTN (Operational Technology Network). This position will support facilities as a digital plant representative who will liaison with production, technical services, project management, crane engineering and other teams. This position will also act as the Equipment Connection Functional Representative, helping plan the direction and connection of equipment to the Operational Technology Network (OTN). This position will also be instrumental in working to identify new use cases and implementing solutions and programs within the use cases. Must Have
Associate's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience
One of the following may be used as equivalent to Associate's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:
NNS Apprentice School graduate Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate High School/GED and 2 years of related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience High School/GED and 4 years of non-related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience Nice to Have
