Mid- Level Industrial Security Specialist Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for an Mid-Level Industrial Security Specialist to join us in Berkeley, MO . This position will serve as the Special Access Program (SAP) Policy specialist for the Boeing Enterprise Classified Security (ECS) Governance, Risk, and Compliance team and will provide expert level input to the development, implementation, and effectiveness assessment of Company policies in support of US government security requirements. The position will engage with various SAP agencies to learn and understand new or changed policies, advocate for the Company's interests in those policies, research and develop proposed local policy implementation and ensure compliance across the Company's SAP portfolio. The position requires an active US Top Secret security clearance as well as recent, extensive experience supporting SAP programs, engaging with USG SAP agencies, interpreting and applying SAP policy, writing local or other policy, as well as communicating with senior government or industry leaders on matters of national security. The successful candidate will have either active SAP access or current SAP eligibility under DOW auspice.

Responsibilities: Assists with Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action Assists with Administrative Inquiries (e.g., collects and analyzes data, writes reports and interviews) on personnel, processes and situations to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements Assists with Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities Assists in the protection of government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures Performs Personnel Security processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses Assists in developing and conducting security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information Assists in Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements Assists in sub-contractor management to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or have you been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years 3+ years of experience in Industrial Security Willing and able to travel domestically 10% of the time  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred Experience working with Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) and DoD Security policy/directives Experience developing and delivering presentations to executive leadership Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
