Collins Aerospace is searching for a Quality Assurance Manager who will own the execution of key elements of site quality assurance operational plans. You will lead a team of quality assurance professionals, set tactical and operational plans for the achievement of Quality Compliance goals and drive change to ensure continuous quality improvement. You will also manage key customer relationships.
What You will Do
Foster a team environment of collaboration, respect, and continuous learning Lead a team of product quality engineers, quality technicians and quality assurance in supporting multiple aerospace customers Manage complex problems requiring extensive analysis and investigation Demonstrate ability to influence others to accept approaches and practices. Oversees quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in non-conformances and escapes. Participates in and supports site compliance (FAI, AS9100D) and customer Audits Reviews process control documentation to ensure it is in compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts. Performs Escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommends corrective action for internally produced products & processes. Responsible for Product Quality Engineering Develops proactive quality initiative strategies and drives their implementation Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
