About this role: The Materials Lead owns the end-to-end supply chain for a Carrier manufacturing facility. This role leads the materials organization — planning, procurement, logistics and inventory — ensuring the material flow that powers production.
Key Responsibilities
Leads the materials strategy and operations: planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory. Ensures material availability to meet the production plan. Owns inventory levels, working capital and days-of-supply. Leads and develops the planning, logistics and warehouse teams. Drive supply chain improvements Coordinates with suppliers and Carrier's global supply network. Owns MRP master data for materials.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. 8+ years of materials/supply-chain experience, including 3+ years leading planning, procurement, or logistics teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related field. Proven end-to-end ownership of planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory. Strong command of SIOP/S&OP, MRP and ERP systems, plus Lean logistics. Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, working capital and days-of-supply. Experience developing suppliers and coordinating with a global supply network. APICS certification (CPIM / CSCP) strongly preferred. Experience building or scaling supply chains in high-growth environments. Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. Other Compensation This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
