As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs. We are seeking a visionary, high-visibility Enterprise Architect to join the Enterprise Product Strategy and Architecture (EPA) team within Corporate Engineering, with a primary focus on owning and scaling our Foundational EA Capabilities. Operating as a strategic player-coach, you will own the establishing of foundational architectural capabilities, application portfolio strategies, supporting strategic decision making and driving the rationalization of Corporate Engineering's software landscape across all functional pillars. Serve as the dedicated primary architecture contact for one or more corporate engineering pillars. By partnering closely with pillar technical and engineering leaders, co-author technical blueprints, drive standard reference architectures across domains, and ensure their systems are aligned with broader corporate standards. Establish a dynamic, centralized architecture repository to map, maintain, and govern corporate engineering's technology landscape. Consolidate our current state and future state architectures into a unified technical baseline. Lead and drive application rationalization and application portfolio strategies. Leverage repository data to proactively identify duplicate systems, manage complex cross-pillar dependencies, and systematically eliminate legacy technical debt. Define, establish, and drive the adoption of the Enterprise Architecture Toolkit including core standards, reusable design patterns, approved technologies, and modern blueprints. Support the Enterprise Architecture Board (EAB) in strategic decision-making.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in program management. 8 years of experience leading cross-functional architectural initiatives, managing technical communities, or aligning multiple business pillars. Experience designing and establishing an Enterprise Architecture Repository (e.g., LeanIX), and defining current state and future state architectures to serve as a unified technical baseline. Preferred qualifications: Experience designing, establishing, or contributing to an Enterprise Architecture Toolkit (standards, design patterns, approved technologies) that successfully balances robust governance with developer velocity and engineering freedom.
