What Makes This Role Great: You will act as the lead legal decision-maker and strategic partner for high-growth partnership initiatives across Trimble's AECO segment, directly shaping business deal structures and driving global technology expansion. Key Exciting Responsibilities: Serve as the strategic owner and lead counsel for all AECO partner programs, setting policy and legal direction for marketplace, developer, and sales channels. Build and scale global legal infrastructure, including playbooks, self-serve terms, and templates that remove deal friction and support growth. Provide proactive, pragmatic advice to business leaders to resolve legal and commercial risks across global channel and partner structures. Partner closely with program leadership to accelerate deal velocity and drive seamless cross-functional strategy execution. Deliver expert legal support on senior-level general commercial matters as needed. Essential Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience drafting and negotiating complex technology, channel, reseller, developer, or marketplace agreements. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with an active state bar membership in good standing. A business-first mindset focused on commercial enablement and pragmatic problem-solving. Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills paired with sound executive judgment. Bonus Points For: Experience with channel economics, including revenue sharing, referral fees, and MDF structures. Familiarity with antitrust and competition compliance requirements. Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance legal efficiency and speed.
