We are seeking a Data Analysis Scientist III to join our R&D organization and the Analytical Development team. The role is based in Uppsala, and you will be reporting to the Manager, Analytical Development.  In this role, you play a key role in developing analytical tools and concepts for QC. You will act as a supporting expert in advanced analysis, as well as working independently identifying critical parameters driving quality. Join our innovative R&D team to make a meaningful impact on scientific advancement!    A day in the Life    You will collaborate cross functionally and contribute to cutting edge projects within proteomics. A key focus will be to perform complex data analysis and present conclusions to guide technical decisions and identify key parameters impacting performance. You will develop analytical tools for quality control (QC) methods, contributing to robust and reliable analytical solutions.

Participate in technical projects and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to develop advanced solutions.  Develop and evaluate analytical tools and concepts.  Perform complex data analysis and identify key parameters influencing performance  Trend data to support trouble shooting as well as identifying and improving QC metrics and limits.  Mentor colleagues and contribute to building team expertise      Education & background   PhD in the life science field, preferably within Bioinformatics.  Strong skills in data analysis, statistical analysis and technical problem solving  Extensive experience in analyzing large data sets in R  E xperience in data trending and development of analytical tools, shiny apps or similar  Documented laboratory experience in biochemistry techniques, molecular biology techniques, analytical methods or similar is beneficial.  Experience leading activities and mentoring colleagues.      Soft skills   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data as well as clearly visualize and communicate conclusions to others.  Strong team player with a proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.  Strong written and verbal communication abilities to present technical information to diverse audiences.  Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects according to set deadlines.  Effective communication skills, preferably in both Swedish and English  Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment    Why Join Us?    At Olink, Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be part of a nurturing team that values integrity, innovation, and involvement.
