ABOUT THE TEAM

The Accounting Platforms team at Parametric: Is accountable for the reliability and strategic evolution of the accounting platforms Parametric's investment business depends on - a portfolio of vendor-provided, third-party systems alongside one platform built and maintained internally by Parametric engineering teams. This is a hands-on technical delivery leadership position - a management role that stays close to the technical detail, engaged in options, design review, and platform behavior, rather than serving as the team's expert engineer. The role leads the discovery and organizational change that alignment requires, and it is accountable for the two engineering capabilities on which it depends: making high-value accounting datasets available to the business consumers who need them, and the Radius Accounting Service, whose APIs and Kafka interfaces expose accounting capability in Parametric's own trade and transaction language rather than any accounting platform's. This role requires a leader who can establish direction, build alignment across business and technology stakeholders, and drive execution across a portfolio of operational, strategic, and technology initiatives.  Success depends on balancing platform stability, operational risk, business priorities, and long-term modernization efforts. The role partners closely with a Principal Software Engineer who provides architectural leadership and
