Understand business requirements, application architecture, and existing systems to contribute to new and enhanced solutions Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Python and/or Java Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices Design and optimize complex SQL queries, database objects, and data access layers to support application needs Develop and consume RESTful APIs and enterprise application services Work with cloud platforms, to deploy, monitor, and maintain applications Build, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar technologies Implement DevOps best practices including source control, automated testing, deployment automation, and release management Leverage AI/ML and Generative AI technologies to develop intelligent solutions and improve business processes Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders to integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and architectural guidelines Monitor application health, troubleshoot production issues, and implement solutions for improved reliability and performance Demonstrate understanding of modern development methodologies and tools to develop, deploy, and maintain impactful business solutions Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment Take ownership of deliverables and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering teams Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MCA, or equivalent 1+ years of software development experience Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools Solid hands-on experience in Python and/or Java development Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices Experience working with cloud platforms Experience using Git and modern source control practices Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Solid understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns Exposure to AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, LLMs, intelligent automation, or AI-assisted development Solid proficiency in SQL, including query optimization, database design, and troubleshooting Demonstrated solid analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Azure, AI, Cloud, or DevOps certifications Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized
