Own and lead end-to-end programmatic media strategy with VP/C-level stakeholders across agencies, trading desks, and retail clients to establish long-term business partnerships. Serve as the subject matter expert on Display and Video 360 (DV360) and the broader Google Marketing Platform (GMP) suite, translating industry trends and retail dynamics into scalable client solutions. Drive incremental business growth by pitching tailored, data-driven Google advertising solutions to agency and brand partners, navigating objections to secure strategic investment and exceed business goals. Deliver data-informed quarterly and annual revenue projections, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate account planning and pipeline visibility. Orchestrate internal and external cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., product specialists, gTech, sales leadership, agency partners) to remove roadblocks and maximize programmatic investment.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 11 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree. Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients. Experience with programmatic sales or programmatic advertising. Preferred qualifications: Experience managing a large scale, complex book of business and partnering with clients on advertising products or martech/adtech (e.g., pitching solutions, consulting, project management, or demonstrating products). Experience building trusted-advisor relationships and influencing/selling to C-level executives and executive business leaders. Experience with Google Ad Solutions, expertise in video advertising (AI-powered Performance and Video, CTV) and understanding of competitor landscape across. Deep expertise in the programmatic ecosystem, digital media buying/selling, and ad tech platforms (e.g., DSPs, SSPs, and Ad Exchanges). Ability to manage sales leadership relationships and drive cross-functional projects effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
