This role is based in Melbourne/Sydney.   What You Will Get to Do:            We are experiencing rapidly growing demand for performance testing, driven by new, complex migration programs and the expansion of our technology platform. We are seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer with 10+ years proven experience in complex, high volume enterprise systems and strong LoadRunner background to join our team with a shared passion for performance excellence. The role covers performance testing of our expanding .NET-based solution, combining business critical batch and online systems with new microservices and cloud technologies. Key responsibilities of this role include: Self-managed full performance test life cycle: define test requirements and scope, planning/schedule, test scenario and build, execution, monitor, analysis and reporting of accurate results and status to target audiences within timeframes. Collaboration with delivery teams to resolve performance defects. Delivery of all test artefacts including Test Plan, Progress Reports, and Test Summary Reports to certify Releases to Production.  Active participation in performance risk identification (business and technical impact) and mitigation actions, establishment of performance NFRs and benchmarks. Develop a deep understanding of our products, services, and technology to effectively communicate and bridge the performance gap between business and technical teams. Drive and define performance testing strategy, process, and tools for efficient and effective Program delivery, and to align with industry standards. Build and optimize automated performance test pipelines to reduce cost & increase coverage. Ownership of test environment and capacity planning. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional, multi-region team located in AU and India. Flexibility to attend meetings/workshop at reasonable overlapped hours.
