About this role
The Government Relations and Public Policy team spans government affairs; policy and issue area expertise; risk mitigation and crisis management; and external outreach, coalition, and partnership-building. We strive to strengthen relationships with policymakers, think tanks, NGOs and other influential third parties; raise awareness among key stakeholders of the work we do to protect the safety, security and integrity of TikTok, as well as its cultural, economic and social impact; and provide insights into policy, regulation and political shifts to better enable the business to navigate the wider regulatory and political environment.
We are seeking an exceptional executive support professional to work closely with the President of Europe and the wider Brussels-based government relations and public policy team. The successful candidate will thrive working in a fast-paced global business; be adept at managing a complex calendar and handling travel and expense responsibilities; be proficient in preparing key executive-level briefing materials; engage in project and task-oriented assignments; and provide additional support for wider budget and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have an innate ability to cultivate strong inter-personal relationships across the business and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities: - Partner with the President of Europe to provide day-to-day operational support, and support the wider Brussels-based government relations and public policy team with certain operational and office management-related tasks. - Manage the President's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, speaking engagements, and travel arrangements and expenses. Exercise discretion in committing time, and determine priority of matters for attention as needed. - Manage inbox and oversee wider communications support for the President. - Schedule significant department-wide and cross-functional leadership meetings, and support the planning and execution of larger scale meetings, including team off-sites. - Assist in the preparation and distribution of agendas and related materials. - Assist the Chief of Staff in key activities and processes, including team operations and governance; budget; and project management. - Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
