UX Strategist and Researcher The Opportunity: We are seeking a UX Strategist and Researcher to lead user‑ center ed research and experience strategy for digital twins and Unity‑based applications. You will identify user goals, workflows, and pain points and translate those insights into clear experience direction for multidisciplinary teams. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and product teams to define research objectives, manage expectations, and ensure user insights shape product and design decisions. You will produce core documentation such as e nga gement plans and findings reports as well as maintain continuity through design‑development tracking and coordinated handoffs in a fast‑moving environment. This position requires autonomy, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage upwards while influencing strategy. You Have: 3+ years of experience in UX research or product design Experience communicating ideas across cross‑functional teams operating in an Agile environment via working sessions, stakeholder e nga gement, and design reviews Experience using Figma ecosystem and the judgment to apply AI tools appropriately Ability to plan and conduct user research, including discovery, interviews, usability tests, and field studies, translate insights into artifacts, including personas, stories, and flows, and design recommendations for complex, enterprise‑level applications Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have: Experience with Unity‑based applications, including AR, VR, XR, digital twins, or simulations Experience with spatial UX, data visualization, and design systems Experience mentoring or influencing team direction Knowledge of accessibility and compliance standards such as W3C or 508 Industry‑recognized UX certification s such as NN / g or HFI Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information .

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
