In the Finance and Corporate Strategy team we ensure that the business’s capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused. By gathering and analysing financial data we can influence decisions within the business, drive initiatives, and help ensure alignment with our wider objectives Job Family Definition: Partners with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions). Drives the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives. Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly both internally and externally. Ensures strong business controls. Management Level Definition: Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues. Support critical sales finance activities like month/ quarter end close and flash discussions with business leaders Prepare and update management reporting templates to facilitate internal finance reviews as well as reviews with geo management Support key planning activities around budgeting / Long term planning including driving of internal reviews with business and interacting with WW GBU/ FP&A stakeholders Perform extensive analysis of multiple financial data sets and provide trends/ insights to finance and business teams Maintain compliance with internal HPE policies and GAAP principles. Strong knowledge of accounting principles is an essential requirement Engage with Cross functional stakeholders to drive business outcomes and communicate proactively with business partners What you'll do:

Provides complex, financial analysis for a financial function or a business. Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making. Provides analytics to business initiatives, typically representing a sub-function within finance for a particular business. Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.
