What this job involves: As a Project Manager at JLL, you'll provide expert project management leadership for designated projects and assignments across client sites, campuses, and facilities. You'll serve as the primary liaison with client representatives onsite while coordinating closely with property and facility management teams to deliver exceptional results. Your role centers on monitoring and coordinating the execution of services and processes relating to client contracted agreements for project management and tenant improvements. With a foundation in facilities management, you'll bring valuable insight into building operations, maintenance coordination, and the ongoing needs of occupied spaces, ensuring projects integrate seamlessly with existing facility functions. Working collaboratively with Site Leads, Business Strategy teams, building management, clients, and owners, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. What your day-to-day will look like: Manage and coordinate all new small works/furniture project intakes from request to approval. Generate Furniture Maintenance Vendor requests and Purchase orders, including generating vendor PO’s and Furniture & Fixtures PO’s Prepare agendas, develop and maintain master project budgets and timelines for each project phase, ensuring overall project objectives and client needs are consistently met Coordinate project reports and drawing reviews (including furniture layouts and plans) for clients, property management teams, and project stakeholders throughout conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction phases Assist in selecting, contracting, and overseeing consultants, construction teams, and furniture vendors necessary for successful project execution Coordinate and manage corporate furniture installations, reconfigurations, and move/add/change activities to align with project schedules and workplace standards Review requisitions, change orders, furniture orders, and project-related invoices while conferring with clients and property management on costs and impacts Support space planning, test fits, and workplace design coordination as it relates to furniture specifications and occupancy requirements Leverage facilities management knowledge to coordinate project activities with ongoing building operations, maintenance schedules, and tenant occupancy needs Ensure compliance with government laws and regulations, including building codes and safety standards across all project phases Maintain open communication with building management, keeping them apprised of project progress, challenges, and achievements at all times.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Facility Management, or related field Minimum 2+ years of project management experience with demonstrated facilities management background Ability to read and understand construction specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings Strong
