Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Sr Principal Media Production Analyst – Level 4 to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. As a Sr Principal Media Production Analyst you will frequently use and general knowledge of industry best practices, techniques, and standards. General application of these concepts and principles. Demonstrate the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks. Understand PC usage and network topology. Be familiar with general display connections and interfaces and will need to be competent in basic videography fundamentals and sound re-enforcement principles. Work with minimal supervision and act as a team lead for project implementations. Must be able to supervise contractor teams and other team specialists. Project management skills a plus. Also, be responsible for set-up, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of A/V and Production equipment such as microphones, speakers, video displays, projectors, switching and processing gear, cameras, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, and mixing boards. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Provides primary AV support (audio/video/lighting) to Space Park live events---especially in the Aerospace Presentation Center on campus. Must be able to work with various display technologies, analog and digital audio consoles, and basic lighting. Should be able to understand basic AV systems integration concepts. Provides Audio Visual/Presentation/Digital Media support for onsite and offsite events/meetings as well as videography/webcasting on Zoom/Teams platforms with multiple cameras and audio sources. Will also work on content management and distribution for digital signage networks. Works with users/customers/team members to achieve the best solutions for each event. Consults with user and team to determine appropriate medium; creates product concepts and production plans; performs shot selection/composition and GUI configuration, video shooting, final editing, graphics editing, posting, file management, and archival duties for webcasting and video capture services. Sets and prepares equipment prior to events and is responsible for operating said equipment. Troubleshoots issues when the need arises. Employs best practices of live event operations and stagecraft and provides quality show value. May act as liaison with vendors ensuring scheduling, costs and quality requirements are met.
