Standard Job Description This position requires candidates to have an Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI access. The Experienced Program Protection Specialist will establish and lead the Program Protection division for a single, high‑visibility, large‑scale program. This role is the sole point of accountability for all industrial‑security activities, including the creation, implementation, and enforcement of Security Classification Guides (SCGs), DD‑254 compliance, CUI management, OPSEC planning, transportation security, and security CONOPs. The incumbent will work directly with program leadership, internal stakeholders, and external customers to safeguard program information throughout the program’s lifecycle. Basic Qualifications Active Top Secret clearance. 5 + years of industrial security experience on large, multi site programs. Demonstrated ability to build and lead a program protection function. Extensive experience managing DD 254s, SCGs, and CUI controls. Experienced with 32CFR 117, NISPOM, DoD Security Requirements. Superior written and oral communication; proven ability to produce detailed guidance documents and deliver briefings to senior leadership and external customers. Strong ability to assess security risks, perform gap analyses, and develop actionable mitigation strategies. Experience leading cross functional security initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority. Desired Skills Professional security certifications. Prior experience establishing a security function for a defense or aerospace program. Familiarity with automated DD‑254 tracking or security‑management tools.
