A key responsibility will be supporting Logistic Operational processes, especially export processes. This function will also support functional metrics and to ensure that the company’s compliance is maintained, supported by the Special Regimes team compliance to AEO, as well as maintaining the support to production on all process being exported.

JOB DESCRIPTION KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Understanding of Logistics Operational Processes, with experience of 3rd Party Logistics Supplier Engagement. Support to export procedures and processes. Daily Process Followup Assistance for KPIs, and functional metrics. Provide support, to optimize Supply Chain processes and international trade compliance. Leverage Process Excellence and Lean practices, as well as Logistics Best Practice techniques to further Logistics maturity. Leadership: Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Lead projects. KEY CUSTOMS & COMPLIANCE TASKS/FUNCTIONS An ongoing focus on Customs Export practices Ability to understand and operate within airworthiness legislation requirements, customs regulations, Recof Regime and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) requirements Develop and maintain the highest standard of accuracy of the company procedures to meet the demands Daily interface with internal and external clients and Logistics Stakeholders REQUIREMENTS Available for 2nd shift Advanced computer literacy skills, with ongoing experience of windows-based packages Knowledge on OASIS SAP, Thomson Reuters International Trade Suite of Software and Brazilian Foreign Trade System. English Intermediate Level – proven written and oral skills Bachelors Degree – in Business Administration, Production Engineering, International Relations, Trade or Logistics and Supply Chain Excellent communication skills Innovative, logical and creative approach to resolving issues and process improvements Curious and passionate about International Trade, Logistics and GE Must be an effective team player with ability to motivate others Must be adaptable to change DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS Certified on Lean Six Sigma techniques - with a focus on Waste Removal and Digitization Kaizen Breakthrough | Improvement Project Experience | Understanding of Lean Principles such as Standard Work, 5S, Kaizen, GEMBA Certified on foreign trade GE is an Equal Opportunities Employer .
