Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. As a Business Planning Analyst (BPA) on the GWS program, you will assist the program manager in planning organization efforts. This position will develop information on budget status, workforce level, resource availability and other company capabilities based on customer requirements. This position will own the cost and schedule story for your assigned scope. You’ll allocate and track costs, collect and interpret data from SAP and EVMS tools, and prepare clear, actionable reports that support program managers, finance, and customer reviews. This role sits at the intersection of program execution and business performance, giving you hands‑on responsibility for control accounts while working closely with engineering, supply chain, and other functional partners to keep the program on track and compliant with EVMS and cost‑accounting standards. Assist Program Manager in directing all phases of the product team from inception through completion, supporting accurate baselines, actuals and forecasts. Assist Program Manager with tracking and allocation of labor and/or materials and other direct costs to monitor schedule and technical performance of company programs. Partner with program managers, engineers, schedulers, and supply chain to align scope, schedule, and cost for proposals, BOMs, changes, and planning packages. Analyzes and validates the business plans, work statements, specifications and operating budgets. Support ETC/EAC development, funding profiles, and sales outlook for assigned scope, highlighting key drivers and trends Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules. Controls expenditures within limitation of project budget. Performs Risk and Opportunity Management by creating variance reports, developing and tracking mitigation or recovery actions. Ensures product team wide focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule. Manages subcontractor actions and performance. Develops and manages performance metrics on assigned programs to drive continuous improvement. Develops and delivers presentations to management, and other program stakeholders. **This position may be filled at the Principal (Level 3) or Sr. Principal (Level 4) level depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Basic Qualifications
(Level 3) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field and professional experience in a business, finance, cost/schedule control, or program/project environment and 5 years relevant experience OR Master’s degree in a related field and 3 years relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree Plus each of the additional requirements listed below.
