Responsibilities
Develop and execute quarterly marketing plans for the p Own and drive sales growth and expansion across an assigned region of North America. Create and execute specific, measurable, achievable, and time-bound business plans to maximize results. Own the sales territory forecast and drive execution in partnership with the regional director. Review and execute partner selection, co-selling, activation, and joint business-planning activities. Conduct quarterly business reviews with key partners and program stakeholders. Lead technical sales training and partner-enablement activities. Track and report sales metrics against established goals and benchmarks. Analyze and summarize complex data to develop sales-play recommendations. Manage and communicate the current state of the pipeline to director- and vice president-level leadership. Train and enable HPE Networking internal channel sellers on the value proposition and business benefits of Mist for the midmarket. Work closely with the internal HPE Networking channel team to educate and train Partner Business Managers (PBMs) and Distribution Business Managers (DBMs) on Mist for the midmarket. Work closely with the internal HPE Networking channel team to profile and identify new potential partners. Educate HPE Networking distribution and national service provider (NSP) vedor teams on the latest Mist trends, promotions, and midmarket sales programs. Leverage distribution- and NSP-funded business development representatives to engage and educate their internal sales teams. Present quarterly business updates to the direct manager and vice president-level leadership. artner base that align with agreed revenue, pipeline, and return-on-investment targets. Education and Experience
Required: University or bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or MBA preferred, or equivalent experience. Typically, 8–12 years or more of selling experience at the end-user or channel level. Experience as a successful account or business manager, selling to CIOs and other senior decision-makers. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the IT industry, preferably networking, channel transactional sales, and small and medium-sized business (SMB) and midmarket customer segments.
