Job Description
Mattel is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Workday HRIS Consultant with expertise in Workday HCM, Compensation, and Security to support the design, configuration, enhancement, and ongoing administration of our global Workday platform. This role will partner closely with HR, Total Rewards, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that improve employee experience, ensure data integrity, and support organizational growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong Workday functional expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for optimizing HR technology through continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Configuration & Administration Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday HCM, Compensation, and Security modules. Design and implement business process changes, condition rules, calculated fields, notifications, and security configurations. Support Workday releases, perform impact analysis, regression testing, and feature adoption. Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions aligned with best practices.
Compensation
Management Support annual compensation planning cycles, merit processes, bonus programs, and compensation reviews. Configure compensation eligibility rules, compensation grades, plans, and related business processes. Partner with Total Rewards teams to implement compensation-related enhancements and process improvements. Troubleshoot compensation-related issues and provide timely resolutions. Security Administration Configure and maintain domain and business process security policies. Manage role-based security assignments and perform periodic security audits. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, privacy regulations, and audit requirements. Support security reviews, segregation-of-duty controls, and risk mitigation initiatives. Reporting & Data Management Develop, maintain, and enhance Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields. Ensure HR data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across Workday modules. Analyze workforce and compensation data to support business decision-making. Support internal and external audit requests through accurate reporting and documentation. Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with HR, Payroll, Compensation, Talent, and IT teams to identify system enhancement opportunities. Provide functional guidance and recommendations based on Workday best practices. Support global HR initiatives, system implementations, and organizational changes. Deliver end-user support and training for Workday processes and functionality. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation and system enhancements. Stay current with Workday releases and emerging HR technology trends. Participate in HR transformation and digitalization initiatives.
Qualifications
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
