As a Business Assistant within Commercial & Investment Banking, you provide essential executive support and help drive business priorities. You work closely with senior leaders and teams, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication. You play a vital role in managing meetings, travel, and events, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. You collaborate across teams, contribute to group initiatives, and help foster a positive, inclusive environment. Job Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, clients, and key partners. Coordinate executive calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements for leadership. Organize and support events, including town halls, off-sites, and investor meetings. Process expenses and manage account reconciliations in partnership with Expense Management. Demonstrate a strong understanding of business priorities and the investor landscape. Serve as a system expert for internal tools, reporting, and document management. Integrate within the group to understand priorities and expectations. Collaborate with team members and partner with assistants to ensure seamless coverage, including during absences. Manage internal and external meetings with a focus on investor and client engagement. Handle general administrative tasks, including room bookings and coordination activities. Mentor new team members, support onboarding, and contribute to projects aligned with business needs. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Demonstrate strong corporate communication, tact, and judgment in confidential situations. Maintain a positive attitude and composure under pressure. Show full competency in diary management and prioritization for senior leaders. Arrange travel and produce accurate itineraries, optimizing leaders’ time. Act as a trusted gatekeeper in client-facing situations. Understand expense management and process expenses promptly. Adapt flexibly to changing business needs and environments. Take initiative and proactively follow up on arrangements and requirements. Deliver high-quality results with strong attention to detail. Understand the culture and priorities of Commercial & Investment Banking. Build networks and work in partnership at all levels. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Mentor and lead by example within the team. Respond effectively to new challenges unique to investor and client landscapes. Experience with project management and business initiatives. Proficiency in internal systems such as Concur, eSource, Travel Portal, and Microsoft Teams. Experience supporting senior executives in a financial services environment. Strong organizational and event planning skills.
