Job Type: Per Diem Job Shift: Rotate Holiday Rotation: Department: Labor & Delivery Under the direct supervision of the RN and in accordance with the State Board of Nursing Practice, Nurse Extern II will be provided hands-on experience to prepare them for an accelerated Nurse Residency Program.
Nurse Extern II is a non-productive employee assigned to an experienced RN each shift.
Non-Productive hours may not exceed 48-hours per month (to total 288 hours maximum during program) May work additional hours in productive labor with patient care assistant or equivalent responsibilities.
