Business Intelligence Reporting - Senior Analyst

Company: Marsh Risk Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our   Marsh Technology   team, part of our   risk   business at Marsh. This role will be based in   Cluj-Napoca . This is a   hybrid   role that has a requirement of working at least   three days a week in the office . You will join a collaborative technology environment where data, analytics, and business insight play a key role in enabling better decisions and stronger outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong BI and data engineering capabilities with a consultative mindset and enjoys translating business needs into scalable, high-quality data solutions. We will count on you to: Design efficient and effective   data models   that support reporting, analytics, and business insight needs. Develop and implement   data transformations   using   SQL   and   TimeXtender , ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance. Analyze data structures and interpret data to provide meaningful insights that support business decision-making. Create dashboards and reports in   Qlik   and   Power BI   to communicate complex information in a clear and user-friendly way. Capture, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical designs that align with stakeholder needs. Troubleshoot data and BI issues, optimize performance, and continuously improve processes, tools, and outcomes. What you need to have: Strong analytical skills with proven experience in   data modeling ,   data transformation , and interpreting data to generate insights. Hands-on experience with   TimeXtender ,   SQL , and BI/reporting tools such as   Qlik   and   Power BI . Ability to capture business requirements and translate them into effective functional and technical solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. What makes you stand out?
