The Chobani Sales Director (Albertsons) will drive the strategy, business development and execution of the Chobani yogurt business for this strategic customer. This role will partner cross functionally with Commercial Development, Customer Finance, Supply Chain and New Product Development to develop and deliver a winning plan for the existing Albertsons business. This position will be based in either one of our Chobani office locations OR remotely in Boise, Idaho. Responsibilities
Dynamic, thought leadership in the development of Chobani’s go-to-market strategy at Walmart that delivers volume and revenue targets Develop, plan, and implement strategic selling plans to achieve sales objectives including volume, profit, and shopper expense Build and maintain relationships with yogurt merchant, understanding their needs, national and regional strategies while aligning with internal Chobani critical metrics Be a proactive voice of Walmart internally: provide integrated customer, consumer, and competitor insights along with actionable recommendations to drive share of mind, resourcing, and focus Lead cross functional planning collaboration to deliver accurate volume and trade forecasts to finance, supply chain and commercial development partners Identify and partner in the creation of selling materials to bring impactful and effective information to the Walmart yogurt buy teams Complete understanding of Walmart’s internal structure, business practices and go to market strategies. Complete other tasks as needed Requirements
Bachelor's degree required 10+ years consumer packaged goods experience including Sales and/or Category Management Customer experience required; Walmart experience highly preferred Strong leadership and negotiation skills Demonstrated ability to influence cross functional leadership Highly customer focused with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple projects at once Proficient with reporting systems such as IRI and Nielsen Proficient in Microsoft Office 25% travel required
