Senior Full Stack Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled senior Full Stack Engineer for a hands-on engineering role responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable solutions that enable critical business users, including Portfolio Managers, Traders, Research Analysts, and Investment Operations teams, to make informed data-driven decisions. This hands-on role involves building cloud-native solutions, back-end technologies, data integration capabilities and APIs while collaborating with global teams, driving technical excellence, and contributing to solution design, development, and delivery. The Purpose of Your Role We are seeking a highly skilled senior Full Stack Engineer for a hands-on engineering role responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable solutions that enable critical business users, including Portfolio Managers, Traders, Research Analysts, and Investment Operations teams, to make informed data-driven decisions. This hands-on role involves building cloud-native solutions, back-end technologies, data integration capabilities and APIs while collaborating with global teams, driving technical excellence, and contributing to solution design, development, and delivery. The Value You Deliver Design, develop, test, and support scalable full stack applications. Develop cloud-native solutions by leveraging AWS services and modern engineering practices. Contribute to application architecture, design reviews, and technology selection decisions. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. Lead development efforts, perform code reviews, and promote engineering best practices. Drive system reliability, performance optimization, security, and operational excellence. Participate actively in agile ceremonies, release planning, estimation, and sprint execution. Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis and resolution. The Skills that are Key to this role Strong experience in Java, backend application development, data APIs and processing of high-volume data. Hands-on experience in data streaming frameworks with Kafka. Hands-on experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Data Modeling, Performance Tuning, OLTP/Data Warehousing. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM and API Gateway. Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, deployment patterns, and distributed systems. Experience with Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices. Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control-M, or Cron. Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills with experience working in Agile environments. Leadership & Delivery Expectations Drive high-quality engineering outcomes through code reviews, design reviews, and best practices. Collaborate effectively with global teams across India and the US. Take ownership of end-to-end delivery from analysis through production support. Identify technical risks and proactively propose innovative solutions. The Skills that are Good to Have for this role Experience with Middle tier and modern cloud data platforms. Knowledge of test automation and Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD). Experience working in Asset Management, Financial Services, or Investment Technology domains.
