What the Hardware Asset Management and Print Services Contribute to Cardinal Health: Information Technology enables business operations by delivering and managing technology solutions, services, and infrastructure. The function is responsible for developing and executing technology strategies that drive operational efficiency, support business objectives, and create organizational value. IT Asset Management (ITAM) is responsible for the governance and optimization of the IT hardware asset lifecycle and enterprise print services. The function partners closely with business stakeholders, support teams, project managers, and vendors to ensure effective asset management, cost control, compliance, and service delivery. This role provides end-to-end operational ownership of hardware and print services, driving inventory management, procurement support, lifecycle governance, vendor coordination, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position also oversees service requests, workload prioritization, and escalations to ensure operational efficiency and achievement of service-level commitments. Job Requirements and Responsibilities: Demonstrates a solid understanding of hardware and printer asset management practices, applying industry standards and best practices to support operational effectiveness. Manages the timely creation, receipt, reconciliation, and closure of hardware- and print-related purchase orders to ensure financial accuracy and process efficiency. Supports enterprise print services operations, including device delivery tracking, escalation management, and print governance activities. Participate in hardware and print operations meetings by providing updates and contributing to operational discussions. Oversee the IT asset donation program, including request evaluation, logistics coordination, asset record maintenance, and compliance with disposition policies. Supports IT asset disposal activities, ensuring proper coordination and adherence to established governance and compliance requirements. Manages vendor data imports to ensure accurate and timely creation of asset records. Maintains hardware asset records and supports audit activities within ServiceNow. Develops and maintains hardware asset reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve compliance, efficiency, and asset utilization. Owns the hardware cross-charge reporting process and delivers accurate monthly financial reporting to relevant stakeholders. Partners with project managers, RCS leaders, and business stakeholders to provide guidance on hardware standards, specifications, costs, vendor lead times, and project-related processes. Collaborates with RCS teams to resolve asset exceptions, inventory variances, and operational issues while identifying process improvement opportunities. Assists in resolving complex hardware-related operational issues and escalations in partnership with RCS, Client Systems teams, and business customers. Proactively identifies inventory shortages, supply chain risks, and fulfillment challenges, driving mitigation plans and stakeholder communications. Leads monthly inventory depot reviews to improve inventory management practices and overall operational efficiency, while presenting improvement opportunities to leadership. Maintains the Xerox Fleet Management Portal, including account administration and end-user support. Reviews and approves hardware and software purchase requisitions in accordance with assigned approval schedules. Provides supporting documentation and reporting for business reviews, operational meetings, and leadership discussions as needed. Monitors and manages shared mailboxes, ServiceNow requests, incidents, and operational work queues to ensure timely fulfillment and SLA compliance. Identifies opportunities to automate processes, reduce incident volumes, streamline workflows, and enhance the end-user experience. Supports ServiceNow patch, release, and upgrade testing activities,
