Raytheon’s Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) Digital Solutions organization is seeking a hands-on, multi-disciplinary Product Owner responsible for maximizing the value of supply chain solutions by prioritizing the product backlog, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery through strong project leadership, business analysis, and change management. It goes beyond traditional backlog management and requires regular work as a tester, change manager, and data analyst. The ideal candidate is comfortable switching between these responsibilities throughout the week, and sometimes throughout the day.
What You Will Do
Product Ownership and Delivery Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog for supply chain systems. Balance input from business stakeholders, Logistics and Property teams, and leadership. Write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for developers and testers. Track scope, schedule, risks, and issues; communicate trade-offs early. Testing and Quality Write and execute test cases for new features and system changes. Reproduce and triage defects to determine whether issues stem from data, configuration, or code. Partner with the appropriate teams to drive issues to resolution. Data Understanding and Solution Design Understand data sources, structures, and system data flows to design accurate forms, workflows, and solutions. Write and run SQL or Snowflake queries to validate assumptions before design and development. Identify potential downstream impacts and prevent data integrity issues before deployment. Change Management and Training Lead end-user adoption for new system or process changes. Create training materials, facilitate training sessions, and provide post-launch support. Anticipate and manage resistance to change to ensure successful rollouts. Documentation and Stakeholder Alignment Create Business Cases, Project Charters, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, RASCIs, and risk analyses. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive-level stakeholders. Translate technical details into clear, accessible information for non-technical audiences. Develop ROI justification for proposed solutions.
Qualifications
You Must Have Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 year’s experience. Agile product ownership experience — backlog management, story writing, sprint participation. Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills — demonstrated ability to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution across cross-functional teams (not just document them). Strong SQL skills — comfortable writing your own
