This position works out of our Sturgis, MI location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Flexibility in job assignments and customer service oriented Must be able to use a forklift regularly and for prolonged periods to perform job Must know duties of these positions – Receiving Clerk, Material Control Operator, General Stores, Label Hold Cage Coordinator and others so they can perform as needed. Timely and accurate paper and computer work, such as receiving clerk duties and others as assigned Update and troubleshoot data in MITS system, such as bag movements, line supply locators, etc. Participate in cost reduction, process improvements and other job-related activities necessary to maintain and improve department competitiveness in the industry Other duties as assigned by the manager / supervisor You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
