Job Description AECOM is seeking an experienced Architecture Designer II for our Carolinas B+P group, to support advanced manufacturing and federal project types. This role provides architectural guidance, design development, and production support across a range of project delivery methods, working closely with senior staff and project teams from concept through construction administration. Our Carolinas B+P teams focus on providing design services in the Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics market, including logistics centers and industrial facilities, while also supporting a wide range of project types across the federal and private sectors.

This position is responsible for initiating and developing design and construction document drawings through completion for assigned projects, in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project's discipline leaders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations. Preparing specifications, reports, and related data tables. Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups. Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required. Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets. May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project. May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting Design and production work, including architectural detailing through construction documents, using Revit Perform construction administration activities, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals Perform field verification and travel to project sites as needed (less than 10%) Perform QA/QC reviews when assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture plus two (2) years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience
