About this role

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. Google Search is transforming from being about answering the world’s questions, to helping users proactively make progress through hyper-personalized experiences. This role will join the fast-moving team helping drive this paradigm shift, building completely new, AI-native Search experiences from the ground up. We are pushing the limits of Google's most advanced Generative AI and multimodal models to fundamentally reinvent how users interact with Search and find information. As a Product Manager on the team, you will focus on executing the roadmap for a cutting-edge generative AI product, and the mandate to build features that define the next era of generative discovery. You will actively prototype directly with models, building out new ways to interact with Google. This is a true foundational environment for an AI-forward innovator. In Google Search, we're reimagining what it means to search for information – any way and anywhere. To do that, we need to solve complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure, while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world rely on. In joining the Search team, you'll have an opportunity to make an impact on billions of people globally. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits Learn more about benefits at Google .

Support product requirements documents (PRDs) by collaborating with engineering, program management, and design partners to implement feature requirements. Own the end-to-end product life-cycle for specific features leveraging AI to build personalized consumer experiences. Collaborate with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and work through complexities of AI model integration. Leverage data and user insights to evaluate feature performance, measure automated solution effectiveness, and identify areas to optimize product performance. Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, UX, marketing, research, and support operations teams to manage successful feature launches and communicate status to stakeholders.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc). 1 year of experience as a Product Manager for Generative AI, Agentic AI, or Consumer AI products. Preferred qualifications: 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders. 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership. Experience in a start-up or 0-1 product development. Experience working with generative AI agents.
