What you will do
In your new role, you will start with a familiarization phase with training to learn about our product portfolio and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Prospect new customers, understand their needs, while also providing ongoing service to existing customers: fostering trust relationships, customer loyalty and sales growth. Develop and execute business plans. You will implement strategies in the sales process and conduct negotiations including with hospital professionals, purchasing departments, etc. With the product knowledge you’ll develop, you will inform, advise and train hospital professionals during workshops and presentations. You will also provide clinical support in the operating room when needed. Prepare quotes for interested customers and be a reliable partner for our customers during order follow-up and after-sales Participate in congresses, seminars and business meetings to identify potential new customers and to expand your knowledge for customer contact. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent customer experience – and with colleagues from other Stryker Commercial divisions towards cross-departmental opportunities. What you need: Required: Degree or equivalent. 5+ years of overall experience, including sales experience preferably in industries such as MedTech, BioTech, Pharmaceuticals, healthcare or related. Excellent interpersonal communications and persuasion skills – with proficiency in French and English . You are commercially driven and enthusiastic about (medical) technology – your resilience and desire to sell technical products with the best customer service are important elements to you. Relationship skills: you appreciate contact with a wide variety of people and enjoy building and maintaining connections. You also consider yourself a great team player. You demonstrate adaptability, organizational, analytical skills and ability to work independently. You have a valid driver’s license as this position involves customer interaction in the field. Preferred: Orthopaedics experience is not mandatory, but it would be an advantage.
