What You Will Do
Join the Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) Mission Area within the Systems Engineering Center at Raytheon, where we design and develop advanced radar and early-warning sensor systems for the warfighter. We are seeking Radar Systems Engineers who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving complex technical problems, and are eager to support innovative sensor and radar programs. You will work alongside experienced engineers to define system architecture, develop and verify system requirements, perform analysis and modeling, and support integration, testing, and flight activities across the full product lifecycle. Support development, analysis, documentation, and verification of system requirements using DOORS. Generate system CONOPS and system architectures. Assist with radar mode requirement development and system performance assessments. Conduct modeling, simulation, and data analysis using tools such as MATLAB, Python, and C++. Participate in hardware/software integration, troubleshooting, and hands-on laboratory testing. Support verification, validation, flight test, production, and post-deployment activities. Perform trade studies, functional/physical analyses, and MBSE-based system design. Prepare and present technical reports, findings, and briefings to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications
You Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date. Academic or internship experience with: Hands-on testing of electronic equipment in labs Troubleshooting electronic or system-level issues Data analysis using MATLAB and/or C++ Experience in algorithm design, requirements development, software/hardware integration, and configuration management Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects Qualifications We Prefer: 3.5 GPA or higher. Coursework or experience in Systems Engineering or radar fundamentals and/or experience or project work in Radar Algorithm design, Radar Requirements development, Radar Software/hardware integration Experience with DOORS or CAMEO Programming experience in Java, C++, Python.
