About this role
Agency: Flywheel Job Function: Consulting Job Subfunction: Business and Change Consulting Job Description:
The Opportunity
Flywheel Ventures is the division of Flywheel focused on new, innovative investments in high- growth marketplaces. It is an exciting opportunity to be part of a startup environment within a larger company. We are seeking a seasoned, technically fluent Senior Product Manager to lead zero-to-one product development across emerging commerce platforms, connected data products, AI-enabled workflows, and strategic integrations. This is a senior individual-contributor role for a product leader who can take an ambiguous opportunity from initial problem definition through discovery, prototype, product strategy, roadmap, launch, and iteration. You will work at the intersection of social commerce, commerce data, APIs, vendor platforms, clean rooms/data lakes, and AI. You will turn fragmented signals and disparate data sources into useful, scalable outcomes for clients and internal teams. Success in Flywheel Ventures requires a self- starter who can create clarity where none exists, make sound build/buy/partner recommendations, and independently drive progress with leadership, technical teams, operations, and external Partners. While this role will support Flywheel Ventures’ social-commerce initiatives—including TikTok Shop and adjacent creator, affiliate, paid-media, and marketplace capabilities; it has a broader mandate to identify and build the next generation of commerce products, data capabilities, measurement solutions, and workflow automation.
What You Will Do
Lead zero-to-one product discovery and development: identify unmet needs, define the problem, validate customer and market demand, develop product hypotheses, and take the strongest opportunities from concept to scalable product. Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for Flywheel Ventures’ social commerce, commerce data, integration, and AI-enabled initiatives. Use rapid prototypes, proof -of-concept, user research, and structured experiments to test assumptions early, demonstrate value, and make informed investment decisions before committing significant engineering effort. Own roadmap prioritization using customer value, commercial return, GMV/revenue potential, adoption, operational impact, technical feasibility, risk, and time-to-market as decision inputs. Translate business needs, platform changes, customer feedback, and technical constraints into clear requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable release plans. Partner closely with Engineering, Data, Design, Client Solutions, Operations, Sales, Legal, Security, and executive leadership to deliver high-quality, scalable products. Engage credibly in technical discussions involving APIs, webhooks, OAuth, permissions, token management, SDKs, data models, event schemas, workflow orchestration, and third-party platform integrations. Shape product requirements for data ingestion, normalization, identity resolution, data quality, governance, clean rooms, data lakes/warehouses, measurement environments, and system-of- r ecord decisions. Develop an AI-first product approach: identify opportunities for AI to improve insights, decisioning, workflow automation, campaign/commerce operations, content processes, and u ser experience. Evaluate, select, and manage external vendors and platform partners; lead technical due diligence, capability assessment, roadmap alignment, delivery oversight, and escalation when needed. Develop a strong point of view on where Flywheel should build, buy, partner, integrate, or prototype—and communicate the rationale clearly to leadership. Stay current on social commerce, creator/affiliate ecosystems, marketplace platforms, retail media, AI capabilities, data/privacy trends, and
