Our team is looking for a qualified applicant to lead all Global Supply Chain activities in support of our Oceanic Systems program portfolio. Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, execution, and operational efficiency of all material and services content for two Operating Units Drive strong supplier performance through the use of focused management approaches designed to proactively identify and mitigate risks Manage supplier relationships and support negotiations for major subcontract awards Acts as the primary focal point for program leadership for GSC and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met Monitor and manage emerging global supply chain issues and develop mitigation strategies to best position programs for continued success Lead GSC in proposal efforts supporting our growing campus through cross-functional collaboration with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Pricing & Estimating Develop key suppliers to support critical program and industry technologies Assume lead responsibility for the assessment of supply resources and to aggregate and prioritize demand requirements Maintain an accurate and predictable material receipt forecast for the Annapolis campus Report to executive leadership at program management reviews Participate in make/buy decisions beneficial to programs and the campus Manage both short and long-term capacity and resource planning Travel up to 25% #MPR Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in operations, supply chain, business, or program management or a masters degree and a minimum of 6 years in operations, supply chain, business, or program management Experience with supply chain management techniques, practices, processes, tools, and planning.
