Human Resources Intern

Join our Ladies & Gentlemen We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Human Resources Intern to join The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne’s internship program. This fixed-term internship offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in luxury hospitality and gain hands-on experience across key hotel departments. As an intern, you will support operational teams while developing practical skills, contributing to memorable guest experiences, and understanding the world-class standards of The Ritz-Carlton brand.

Assist with end-to-end recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, resume screening, and shortlisting of applicants. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless candidate experience. Conduct reference checks and support pre-employment verification processes. Prepare and maintain accurate employee records and personnel files in line with company standards. Create employee entrance cards, name badges, and other onboarding materials for new team members. Conduct work rights and visa checks to ensure compliance with employment legislation and company requirements. Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, including filing, data entry, report preparation, and inbox management. Assist with the coordination and organisation of Learning & Development materials, training records, and training schedules. Create and distribute employee engagement collateral, including posters, communications, and promotional materials for workplace initiatives and events. Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of employee information and HR records. Support HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, culture, and operational efficiency. Perform general administrative duties and provide support across all facets of the Human Resources function as required.

Currently enrolled in a Business or related degree. Passionate about luxury hospitality and eager to build a career in the industry. Excellent communication skills with a positive and proactive attitude. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellence. Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team and fast-paced environment.
