We have an opportunity for a motivated, self-directed Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) Manager to support the sites in Collin’s South Region. As an EHS Manager, Atlanta Service Center, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment and will foster employee engagement and drive risk reduction and continuous improvement of the EH&S program. This is a unique opportunity that will give you the chance to see our products as they are produced in the factory and then in use at customer locations.

Recognizing, evaluating and controlling hazardous workplace conditions.  Taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and health of site employees and influence safe behaviors.  Partnering with site POCs and EH&S subject matter experts to assure compliance including appropriate documentation to prove alignment with federal, state, local and company EH&S requirements.  Executing initiatives, programs, reports and training across multiple EH&S disciplines, as required to achieve and maintain compliance.  Investigating, analyzing and interpreting data from injuries and near-misses, and ensuring corrective actions are completed on time.  Interacting with employees of all levels, promoting relationships, learning the tasks employees perform and becoming known as a resource to the employees at the sites within your region. Contributing to the development and implementation of EH&S strategic initiatives that drive continuous improvement.  Identifying environmental risk and supporting the sites’ environmental compliance programs, including hazardous waste management, stormwater and ground-water protection plans, air quality permitting, wastewater and toxic chemical reporting.  Developing and implementing sustainability practices and programs related to waste, water, and greenhouse gases in alignment with our long-term goals.

You Must Have: Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience Experience in safety auditing, inspection, and identifying hazards. Experience working in regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, medical, or similar high-reliability sectors. Experience leading teams and performance. Must be able to travel occasionally to additional sites as needed.

We Prefer: Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM). Certified Safety Professional (CSP). Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). Certification or experience managing Ergonomic risk reduction. ACE, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma or related Continuous Improvement tools and a proven track record of cost savings and continuous improvement accomplishments.
