Job Profile Summary: The Liquidity Reporting Analyst will be responsible for the development and production of liquidity reporting that meets global regulatory requirements, internal Committee expectations and provides new insights into liquidity trending and potential risk events. A successful candidate will participate in the development and maintenance of daily, weekly and monthly liquidity reporting utilizing output from liquidity models and the Northern Corporate Warehouse via PowerBi. Ideally, the prospective candidate will have an understanding of balance sheet management, liquidity principles, risk framework design, risk identification and risk measurement approaches which are necessary to support a sound liquidity risk stress measurement and reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Work with Treasury, Risk Management and Finance IT partners to establish new Cash Flow and Internal Liquidity Stress testing reporting via PowerBi 2. Own production of monthly internal liquidity stress testing results for Corporate Committees including driver analysis, balance sheet movements and forward-looking impacts 3. Work with partners globally to create internal liquidity stress testing reporting that meets local jurisdictional regulatory and local management needs. Participate in enhancing local internal liquidity stress testing assumptions. 4. Conduct ad-hoc analysis to aid senior management and executive committees in the decision-making process impacting product pricing, balance sheet optimization, and investment selection. 5. Knowledge on global regulatory requirements and expectations that govern liquidity risk. Knowledge: Exceptional ability to organize and execute responsibilities Experience with PowerBi or similar business intelligence tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, critical thinking, investigating problem-solving and decision-making talents Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Experience: Graduation or above degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math, Engineering or another quantitative field is preferred. 4+ years of prior liquidity risk management experience working in a financial institution, regulator agency, consulting firm, or related field is preferred. Familiarity with Asset Liability Management, Liquidity Risk Management and Funds Transfer pricing is required.
