About the Team The TikTok Safety & Product team is dedicated to building a safe, trusted, and resilient live streaming ecosystem for users, creators, and partners around the world. Based in Singapore, this role sits within an international and cross-functional environment, working closely with Product, Engineering, Algorithms, Moderation, and Operations teams to strengthen platform risk detection and governance capabilities.
As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. Responsibilities - Identify potential risks across live streaming business scenarios, distill risk signals and patterns, and help develop practical governance strategies that can be operationalized at scale. - Independently drive end-to-end case analysis — from reviewing individual cases and extracting risk characteristics to designing recall logic and supporting strategy launch. - Partner with Product, Algorithm, Moderation, and Operations teams to integrate strategies into automated review and human moderation workflows, improving governance efficiency and accuracy. - Analyze daily risk performance and abnormal trends to uncover emerging risk patterns, summarize key features, and iterate on strategy design. - Monitor post-launch strategy performance through core metrics such as recall, precision, hit rate, and false positives, and continuously optimize outcomes. - Contribute to strengthening the team's overall risk discovery and response capabilities through structured analysis and ongoing strategy refinement.
