Job Responsibilities
(Including Key Result Areas, Specific Accountabilities, Tasks, Etc.) Read SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and excerpts from technical documentation Complete required training Ensure proper documentation practices during job activities Perform visual inspections Conduct troubleshooting activities Gather, organize, and communicate operational information to others Participate in spill control, handling of hazardous materials, and first aid Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities Attend team meetings to discuss progress, initiatives, and/or other matters Monitor equipment and/or systems for performance and problem indicators Perform data entry Read, understand, and comply with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), including general safety, and lock out tag out Report process deviations when they occur Wear gowning, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required Perform preventative (scheduled) and corrective/emergency (unscheduled) maintenance of equipment, systems, and/or facilities without supervision Ensure proper documentation practices during maintenance processes Perform, in order of priority, work required in response to Facilities equipment requests. Monitor building management alarm system and respond appropriately Perform daily Facility equipment checks Pull necessary parts to complete a work order or ticket Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Minimum Requirements Experience maintaining Facilities systems including building fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, humidifiers and air dryers. Strong communication skills, written and verbal skills Preferred Background High school diploma and certification in a skilled trade (electrical, boiler operations, etc.) Associate’s degree in a technical discipline desirable 2 Years experience with building fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC equipment (boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, humidifiers, and air dryers), low voltage electrical systems, emergency diesel generators. Relevant skilled trades training or certificates Prior experience with CMMS Work Schedule: 12 hour day shift - 2/2/3 0600a - 1830p. The work schedule listed reflects the employee’s expected schedule at the time of hire.
