Job Description
Summary Perform strategic sourcing activities related to assigned Indirect spend commodities. Evaluates sourcing requirements to ensure compliance with internal controls, operational requirements, and business continuity objectives. Build collaborative relationships with internal business partners and strategic relationships with external suppliers. Establish governance processes to effectively manage suppliers through scorecards, business reviews, market intelligence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
Lead supplier lifecycle management for assigned commodities including supplier identification, onboarding, RFx activities, contract negotiations, implementation, and offboarding. Develop and execute global commodity strategies for MRO, utilities, engineering certifications, and other assigned categories. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align sourcing initiatives and supplier strategies with business objectives and operational requirements. Develop and execute cost productivity, working capital, and total cost of ownership (TCO) initiatives aligned with commodity strategies and annual business objectives. Negotiate and implement Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing agreements, and other commercial contracts. Manage contract lifecycle activities including renewals, amendments, compliance monitoring, and supplier governance. Lead supplier performance management through scorecards, business reviews, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve service, quality, responsiveness, and cost. Monitor supply market conditions, spend trends, industry trends, supplier capabilities, and risk factors to support sourcing decisions and business continuity. Measure, monitor, and report key performance indicators, including productivity, cash, supplier performance, quality, contract compliance, and risk mitigation outcomes. Ensure supplier compliance with policies, procedures, safety requirements, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations. Lead cross-functional sourcing projects and influence stakeholders to achieve business objectives. The Essentials - You Will Have: Bachelor's Degree. Previous sourcing, procurement, supply chain, engineering, operations, or related business experience. Minimum of 5 years Sourcing, Supply Chain, or Engineering related experience The Preferred - You Might Also Have Experience with MRO, industrial supplies, facilities services, utilities, engineering certifications, calibration services, or related indirect spend categories. Experience supporting manufacturing operations in a global environment. Data driven and analytical focused Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent interpersonal and problem resolution skills Experience working in a multinational, matrixed organization. Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
