Position Summary
The Catering Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during catered events. This position provides service to guests, keeps the bar area stocked and organized, and follows company policies and alcohol service requirements. The Catering Bartender may also assist with bar setup and breakdown before and after events. This role pays an hourly rate of $19.00. This is a seasonal role from October 5, 2026 and will end on October 11, 2026. This position will remain open until October 11, 2026.
Responsibilities
Set up and break down bar areas for catered events. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Check identification when required before serving alcohol. Follow company policies and alcohol service laws. Keep the bar stocked with beverages, ice, cups, and supplies. Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the event. Communicate with guests and take drink orders. Monitor alcohol consumption and report concerns to management. Assist with inventory of beverages and bar supplies. Handle cash or point-of-sale transactions when required. Work with catering staff and managers during events. Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous bartending or food and beverage experience preferred. Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcohol in the location where the event is held. Ability to prepare and serve common beverages. Ability to communicate with guests, coworkers, and managers. Ability to follow instructions and company procedures. Ability to stand and walk for long periods. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and event schedules as needed. Alcohol service certification may be required based on state or local requirements. Food handler certification may be required depending on the location.
