Senior Internal Logistics Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Internal Logistics (LSP) professional to lead warehouse operations, inventory management, material flow, and logistics service providers within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures the efficient delivery of materials to production while meeting safety, quality, sustainability, service, and cost objectives. The ideal candidate has strong experience in warehouse operations, WMS systems, cross-functional collaboration, and third-party logistics management.
Key Responsibilities Operations & Continuous Improvement • Lead Internal Logistics operations and support Factory Logistics strategy. • Drive continuous improvement, productivity, standardization, and cross-functional projects. Safety, Sustainability & Compliance • Ensure compliance with PMI policies, legal requirements, and EHS&S standards. • Foster a proactive safety culture and implement risk-reduction initiatives. • Maintain sustainable and compliant logistics processes. Inventory, Quality & Service • Ensure uninterrupted material supply to manufacturing operations. • Lead inventory management to achieve 100% physical and system inventory accuracy and maintain AIR standards. • Oversee waste management and work process compliance. • Partner with QA and stakeholders to prevent quality issues and eliminate nonconformities. • Ensure timely material replenishment and zero downtime due to material shortages. Performance & Cost Management • Track KPIs, conduct business reviews, and drive performance through the PDCA cycle. • Manage third-party logistics providers against contracts, KPIs, SLAs, and PMI standards. • Identify cost-saving and productivity opportunities through benchmarking and loss analysis. Leadership & Development • Develop and coach logistics teams and external partners. • Support technical and professional growth while promoting ownership and accountability.
Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Commerce, IT, or a related field. • 5+ years of Internal Logistics, warehouse, or LSP experience. • Experience managing third-party logistics providers and contracted teams. • Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, LES/MES, IMEL, and WMS platforms. • Knowledge of Warehouse & Logistics RTT methodologies. • Fluent English. • OPEN+ and/or Lean experience preferred.
