Customer Success Engineering Specialist, Sumaré/SP Collaborate with Innovative 3Mers Around the World 3M is seeking a Customer Success Engineering Specialist to join the Corporate Research Digital Platforms (CRDP) team and help drive successful adoption of OnePlace, 3M's enterprise R&D data and AI platform. This role serves as the primary interface between platform consumers and delivery teams, helping researchers, data stewards, and product teams successfully onboard, adopt, and scale their use of OnePlace's data, workflow, and AI capabilities. The Customer Success Engineering Specialist combines customer success, platform enablement, support coordination, and requirements gathering to accelerate adoption of governed data products, workflow automation, and AI-enabled solutions across the R&D ecosystem. The Impact You’ll Make in this Role Help researchers, engineers, and product teams successfully leverage OnePlace to accelerate digital research, data-driven decision making, and AI-enabled innovation. Work across technical and business teams to support onboarding, platform adoption, issue resolution, requirements gathering, and user enablement. Support onboarding and adoption of OnePlace for new users, teams, data products, and use cases. Guide users on platform capabilities, governance requirements, best practices, and self-service resources. Serve as a primary point of contact for platform users, gathering requirements, feedback, and enhancement requests. Coordinate support requests, issue triage, escalations, and resolution updates with engineering and operations teams. Track onboarding progress, adoption metrics, user engagement, and customer health to identify improvement opportunities. Create and maintain enablement materials, including guides, FAQs, training content, documentation, and knowledge articles. Support data product onboarding by assisting with metadata, publishing workflows, governance processes, and platform standards. Act as a bridge between users and delivery teams, communicating needs, challenges, and opportunities across the organization. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or related field. Experience in customer success, technical support, business analysis, consulting, platform enablement, product support, or similar roles. Familiarity with modern data platform concepts including data products, data governance, metadata management, analytics, workflow automation, and AI-enabled solutions. Experience supporting, onboarding, enabling, or working with enterprise software, data platforms, analytics platforms, cloud solutions, or technical products. Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into actionable outcomes. Experience working directly with customers, users, researchers, or stakeholders in a technical environment. Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Advanced proficiency in English. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Experience supporting data, analytics, AI, machine learning, or cloud platform initiatives.
