We help keep this nation and our allies secure and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of strategic deterrence.   We are seeking a Systems Engineer, Senior to support the integration between the System Security Engineering (SSE) and Reentry System Program Teams. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of security engineering principles and practices into the reentry system design, development, and operation. This position requires a strong understanding of system security engineering, reentry system development, and program management.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate integration between SSE, Reentry System Program, and customer; ensuring effective communication and collaboration Integrate SSE requirements, including Hardware Assurance, Software Assurance, Cyber Security, Asymmetric Threat Vulnerability Management, Supply Chain Risk management, and Nuclear Surety into the reentry system design and development Work with Reentry System Program team facilitate identification of critical program information and ensure that security engineering requirements are properly addressed Work with SSE team to develop, verify, and validate security engineering requirements throughout the systems engineering lifecycle for each reentry program Ensure security engineering principles and practices are applied throughout the reentry system lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and operation Monitor status, risks, needs, and priority of SSE tasks for all Reentry Programs Work with operations and manufacturing teams to ensure that security engineering requirements are properly addressed during system operation and maintenance Develop and maintain a plan for SSE activities on the Reentry SEIT team with Agile and Waterfall based methods Support Basis of Estimate Development and Proposal efforts for SSE   The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.   Basic Qualifications
