Meet the Team The Sales Strategy team acts as the incubator for Splunk’s most critical go-to-market pilots and process innovations, bridging the gap between high-level corporate vision and field-level execution. We are a high-performing, analytical group that thrives on solving complex operational challenges and turning market data into repeatable sales motions that drive recurring revenue and customer success.
Your Impact
Program Incubation: Lead the design and piloting of new programs to mature recurring revenue offers, including software and services, within the CX portfolio. Strategic Transformation: Design scalable strategies to reduce attrition and drive expansion across renewals, while leading cross-functional initiatives to shape future-state offerings. AI-Driven Insights: Leverage AI tools to deliver actionable insights, inform strategic program design, and drive scalable business development initiatives. Field Alignment: Facilitate regular field and partner forums to review pipeline forecasts, assess performance, and drive proactive interventions to close gaps. Operational Excellence: Serve as a strategic advisor to influence investment decisions and define scalable business models that enable partner and market growth.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of experience in sales strategy, operations, or business consulting. Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from inception to implementation. Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations. Experience in sales enablement, including delivering product/systems training to field or partner teams. Proficiency in identifying market trends and process improvements to drive recurring revenue growth.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or equivalent advanced degree. Deep expertise in Sales/GTM Strategy within the enterprise software or SaaS sector. Proven track record of framing ambiguous business problems and delivering executive-level recommendations. Experience with AI-driven analytics or automation tools to optimize sales processes. Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Why Cisco?
