Duties & responsibilities
What this job involves The Analyst – Vendor Performance provides structured analytical, coordination, and administrative support across the end-to-end Vendor Performance Management (VPM) cycle. This role enables S&P teams to execute rigorous supplier performance processes by managing data, platforms, communications, and reporting with accuracy and reliability. Planning & Preparation Compile and validate annual vendor spend data to support scorecard list confirmation Prepare scope participant lists (suppliers and accounts) for review by onshore teams Coordinate resource (SCSC) scheduling and debrief logistics Support evaluator nomination processes including data collation and tracking Launch & Communication Prepare pre-launch communication templates (collective and/or tailored) for internal and external distribution Distribute email notifications confirming annual Supplier Performance Management (SPM) cycle commencement Scorecard Management Create and configure scorecards in Jaggaer per defined templates and evaluation criteria Monitor and follow up on evaluation completion status across assigned vendors and accounts Track scorecard completion and escalate delays to onshore lead Issue completed scorecards to suppliers and accounts, managing follow-up communications Identify and action incorrect scoring issues, reopening scorecards where required in line with approval protocols Analysis & Reporting Extract and compile scorecard data from Jaggaer for quantitative and qualitative analysis Capture and structure key insights summaries for onshore review Prepare, coordinate, and format post-scorecard summaries for presentation to S&P Leadership Distribute annual SPM report notifications to relevant stakeholders Supplier Performance Meetings (SPM) Coordinate exchange of SPM pack drafts between onshore leads and vendors ahead of SPM interactions Finalise SPM packs and presentation materials ahead of interactions Support hosting logistics for SPM interactions (scheduling, dial-in coordination, documentation) Capture key topics discussed during SPM interactions and distribute summaries to relevant accounts Action Planning & Follow-up Collect and log Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) from vendors following SPM interactions Archive CAPs into Jaggaer with correct categorisation and linkage to vendor records Track all open CAPs through to closure, ensuring actions are completed by scheduled end dates and escalating overdue items Recognition Provide coordination support for Supplier Awards processes, including data collation and nominee preparation Data Handling Protocols Prohibited activities: sharing vendor performance data across clients without authorisation, communicating performance outcomes directly to vendors without onshore approval, or making commitments on scoring or remediation actions. Performance objectives The Analyst – Vendor Performance will be measured against the following key objectives: Achieve ≥95% on-time creation and issuance of scorecards within defined cycle timelines Maintain ≥90% scorecard completion rates through proactive follow-up and escalation Ensure ≥98% data accuracy in scorecard compilations, CAP records, and SPM summaries Deliver 100% of scheduled reports and SPM packs on time with complete and accurate information Archive 100% of CAPs into Jaggaer within 48-hour SLA of receipt Achieve ≥4.5/5 stakeholder
